The quality of their work is truly remarkable, my car was damaged in the front bumper and hood (1st picture) and then a second time 6 months later (2nd & 3rd picture). I was concerned about the extent of the damage. However, the skilled technician, Miguel, worked his magic and restored my car to its original condition, the paint matching is flawless and the attention to detail is evident as you can see in the after pictures.

Impressive Workmanship and Quality Service!

The repair work was executed flawlessly. My car had suffered substantial damage, I brought my car (2021 VW Tiguan) for inspection after an accident, and they helped me get the dealer parts for my car when the insurance wanted to install after market parts that would not fit well, it was a long wait but it was mostly on the insurance side where they had to wait for their approval, I met Miguel who is the repair man, he managed to restore my vehicle to its original condition. The attention to detail was outstanding, and the paint match was seamless. I also met April who was very knowledgeable and had the patience to explain everything to me in detail, its a great local business we have in our town! 10 stars!!

I brought my truck for repair, rear side, left fender and front bumper, got a 2015 F150, talked to Miguel who knows what he is doing, he show me the previous repairs my car had and how they were done so poorly (butchers), however, when they were done with my car, he show me again and I feel confident it was done the right way this time! Service was excellent. I called a major body shop at first but they weren't really willing to help me understand my problem at all. Even after I gave descriptions and scenarios they still wouldn't help me they just told me to "bring it in" and the price was 50 dollars just to look at the car! Did some Google searching and found this gem. No bad reviews and those reviews weren't lies. I called them and they treated me with so much love and respect over the phone and told me every possible thing that could be wrong with my leakage under the vehicle. Went in and they worked with me with great prices. They even wanted to hold they car longer to make sure they didn't miss anything and that everything checked out. Such an awesome body shop. Definitely go to them! Gate City Auto body is the best in greensboro, heck dare I say even the triad! Even got to meet the owner and he is cool as well as the mechanics! #AGGIEPRIDE

Certainly, having an auto accident is about as unpleasant an experience you can have – especially, when the @#%$ accident is your own fault - nope, wasn’t texting, drinking or fishing that scratched Journey CD out from between the seats; thanks for asking...The actual and fairly embarrassing circumstances of the ‘accident’ will remain forever between me and my somewhat bemused insurance agent.

Truly, I could not have been happier with the service at Gate City. My car was repaired as promised and looked as good as it did the day I bought it – seriously. April was extremely pleasant and kept me advised on part delays and such. The car was ready on time and at the quoted price. Excellent customer service all around – a rarity these days for sure.

April said she has several ‘repeat’ customers. I can believe it – if I was a really horrible driver, I would most definitely put Gate City on speed dial…

Had the misfortune of coming in contact with some animals as i traveled down I40. Took my car originally to crown and was referred to GCAB by the manager there because he claimed they “are great people, do great work, and are fairly priced.” Well all of those came to be true. The animals that i hit did just shy of $1k dollars worth of damage and everything was explained to me and April was very transparent in her explanations of prices and that impressed me as a customer a great deal. If they run into anything else while under it they will notify you first prior to doing anything extra than was outlined for you in the beginning. Their mechanics are top notch, awesome work and awesome shop over there. They even detail the interior of your vehicle upon completion, a very nice finishing touch. Highly recommend GCAB.

I have used Gates on two separate occasions and would never consider bringing my car anywhere else. The staff is friendly and professional. They are very quick to get your car in for an inspection and also the repair. Their rates are on par or lower than other places I took my car, and most of their work comes with a lifetime warranty.
